NFL countdown said Vick isnt playing against the Patriots... :fire: But they also said that Richard Seymour isnt as well as 3 D backs
 
Just when I was hoping the falcons would beat the Pats so we could get a 2 game lead.
 
If we worry about our games and winning them...then the rest takes care of itself. We better have learned a long time ago, we control our own destiny....


Wins=Playoffs
Losses=Can't wait till next year.......
 
Everyone should have learned we can't depend on other teams to lose in order for us to be acheivers to go to the playoffs. Remember when all we needed to do a couple years back was win 1...yes 1 lousy game out of 2 to make the playoffs and ended up losing the last game to a FREAKIN Minny FG!!!!....Screw the other teams. We just need to WIN...point blank and simple. We must enter every game as a playoff game and a must win. We can't afford to be relaxed even if it is the 4th or 5th game....period. OUR wins are the only thing that will make us PLAYOFF contenders.....

GO PHINS!!!!!

Personally I think Vick not playing gives the Falcons a better chance to win. Look what happend last week when Vick was out. He's overrated.
 
Don't be so certain

Just because Vick isn't playing doesn't mean they'll come down here and get a victory. As long as the Falcons run the ball and play good defense, they'll win the game. Schaub needs to do is hand the ball off to Dunn, then off to Duckett by the goal line. Then everyone once in a while dump it off to Crump. In any event, the Phins will win today, so it really doesn't matter what happens in ATL.

Now I wouldn't say he is overrated considering teams build game plans to stop him.....

I agree somewhat. Potentially I think Schaub is a better fit for the Falcons. They need an accurate arm to complement their great running game. I don't know if Schaub is ready to be number one but I certainly think that if Schaub stays away from turnovers the Falcons have a great chance at the win

Couldn't have say it better, it matters not what other teams do, as long as the phins win their individual games, the other teams can't catch up. I do remember the Minny and NE debacles, 2 chances to make the playoff and we swift both chances.

The Falcons will win anyways. Atlanta will just run the ball ALL DAY LONG!!!

Kind of what they do anyway, just with the threat of pass, basically a long QB draw for them..the 2nd QB can actually throw, so they really are more of threat in this game.
