I want to first apologize for making anyone think this was going to be reputable and with a link, and what not.

I just wanted to say that Marcus Vick should be preparing for a season at Quarterback over in NFL Europe.

I don't know if they'll send him. I don't know how he'd do. He might be less effective than Brock Berlin was. But, I know when I think about it, I only envision him tearing it up. I see his athleticism at the position being a first for NFL Europe, and unless there's a drastic and immediate upgrade in NFLE defender play, Marcus Vick could do really well if he's focused and ready to improve (and if he's improved over this past season as well). He could be a 1st down machine.

I hope he tears it up and wins the championship. Of course, I have no idea if he's going to NFL Europe. I doubt he will, but I obviously hope he does.

sorry i just didnt see any relivance in this post....we have way more concerns to talk about!

Every thread cant be about coaching. It gets annoying when people say the same thing 6 times.

I think this thread deserves at least 3 stars, Ive seen way worse with 2 stars. So I'll vote it a 5 to balance it.

I was just curious why he chose to put it in the draft forum. :hmmm:

EDIT: I'm used to this draft forum for the past few weeks. My mistake. Can it be moved?

I don't know if you have actually seen him play QB or not but he wasn't a very good college QB. I doubt he will get any snaps at QB for any nfl team
or any nfle team for that matter.

Great post! Extremely relevant. Vick at number 3 or 2 QB means we save a lot of money trading or cutting Joey or Daunte or both. This translates into FA's. Starks,Davis,Samuel,Briggs. Wake up! One little thing like Vick going to and playing well in Europe can translate into having a pro bowl corner or OLB next year. Getting more real playmakers results in being in the playoffs. If he is indeed eligible to go, why wouldn't Vick be sent to Europe?

I think it would be a great idea if vick went to Europe. He's not going to develop sitting on his butt in the offseason.

I don't think there is any doubt if he had stayed in college and didn't have the character issues, he would have been a first round QB. He torched the ACC last year and has a great arm.

The only thing irrelevant about finheaven is when ppl post the same thing over and over agian...Great post man nice to read about something besides the coaching thing which will take care of itself...but anyways i hope he does go over there and play some qb cuz if he cant do decent over there than he probally should be cut

Is it just me or did we bring in Vick as a WR? Why would we send someone we want to be a WR to NFLE to play qb? I'm all for sending him as a WR. IMO he'll never take a snap in the NFL as a true qb. He was average in college at the QB position and that was partially due to the fact he had some mobility. If he's going to make it in the NFL his best chance is.

Saban spoke several times on his plans to develope Vick at the QB position. Of course that means nothing now, but it most definitely was the plan. He is very versatile and can be a kick returner or receiver because of his great speed and good hands. He dropped fewer passes than anyone in pre-season.
I don't like him at return guy or receiver for the simple reason he goes down if someone just looks at him. But you have to admit his hands are good, his speed is great, and he does have an NFL arm. Maybe he is too short. What about Mike? or Flutie? Or Tarkenton? etc.

I'm pleased to read a post which isn't making blind guesses about who is going to be the Phins Head Coach in 2007.

I agree, what's to be lost in sending Marcus Vick to play QB in Europe? If it doesn't work out, fair enough but it would be good if he turned out to be capable enough to be a worthwhile 3rd stringer.
