Vickerson's Behavior to Cost Him

Also, this shows that the Dolphins had started negotiations with draft picks weeks ago. Vickerson got a contract June 29th.
 
I never knew he was originally recruited by Saban. Interesting. The guy sounds like he has still yet to grow up. Skipping practice, late, off field problems etc. That's the kind of stuff you pull in High School. Well we only spent a 7th round pick on him.
 
He will probably sign Saturday if he wants any chance at making the 53man roster. Vickerson has great physicals but not mental there yet. Sounds like another DT we just drafted....
I can't wait to see all of our picks in camp and in preseason games!!!

Yeah after doing extensive work on our picks most people came to realize that Saban's picks were all well-known to him. It will be interesting to see what he does in next years draft and who he picks.
 
  • 6 days to camp
  • 5 days waiting period after you fire your agent to sign with new agent.
  • Chances of 7th round pick getting to camp on time are slim.
  • Vickerson dumb and getting dumber
 
Wow what a mental idiot. Sad really, since he has the physical tools. Hopefully someone will smack him upside the head soon.
 
I Really hope all the criminals on our team are not as dumb as they seem, they have one of the best Jobs in the world in my opinion, get paid very well, yet they don't mind taking a chance drinking driving, assaulting women, smoking marijuana, taking steriods, or just showing up late & acting like an ***. The Dolphins were a classy organization at one time, now I just don't know, teams need to take back control of their organizations and not allow these type of things to happen, I am sure every team has these problems, and they all are partly responsible for NFL turning into the Thug football league. But did we add any players this year without a criminal record or drug related offense?
 
I say we give him a small contract offer and if he doesn't like it then bye bye Vickerson.
 
Well, I guess those reports about Vickerson on PFT a couple of weeks back were true. The ones where they called him a "turd". The worst part is, that Vickerson seemed to really step it up his last year of college. Seemingly finally getting a head on his shoulders to go with that talent. However, it looks like that may have been premature since he seems to have no clue how to handle himself on the pro level.

I am surprised that after the first time he was late or outright missed a practice that one of the veterans didn't get ahold of him and let him know how this whole thing works. Someone like Seau, Thomas or JT.

Oh well, perhaps even all the more reason to draft Wright.

You ca't cut a player if he doesn't have a contract. What Vickerson could do is refuse to sign the cheap contract that we will prob be giving him and enter next years draft.
 
You would think that a guy with a marginal chance of even making the team would work twice as hard. Then he acts like a turd. Lets see how he does after flipping a few burgers.
