Video: Every Ryan Tannehill Dropback At New York Jets Wk 2

After watching that, I can't help but think ....Is the Jets DLine actually that much better than Tennessee's, or is the loss of Sitton that noticeable?

Thanks for posting!

Jets played Detroit and Miami with a lot of heat from their front 4. The Jets offense isn't good enough to keep their defense from burning out. A few more losses and the flame will fade and I'm looking forward to it.

Ooh thank you, I wanted this to chart a couple of things and I forgot to DVR the game.

The answer is yes to both questions. What I noticed was excellent ball placement for 17 of the 23 throws which is good. Just in case you were wondering if I just restated the completions, one of the drops was good ball placement and one of completions was not. My point is RT’s ball placement is very good. I remember when screens failed because he was erratic with his placement. When I hear it is the same old RT, this is where I question the analysis.

RT still has issues with throwing the ball away and feeling pressure, so I agree with that part of the “same old RT” narrative.

I think Tannehill has been good if not great at what he's needed to be in the first two games. His next test will be how does he handle games where the Dolphins need to push the ball down the field more and teams bring more pressure. It hasn't all benn on the qb, but so far the passing game has struggled when pressured. I know that's true with most teams, but Miami seems below average in this area so far.

Definitely still has issues throwing the ball away. It’s both a knock, but also a plus. He’s made a lot of plays by holding onto the ball.

I don't think jets are worry about this yr. they are trying get Dornald read for future...It all depend on their qb. if he is good jets will be good. if he suck jets will suck for yr..so will bills qb as well...

I've seen a couple posters state that Wilson slowed on the fly and that is why Tannehill overthrew him. I dont see it. Id love to see the All 22 to confirm. 17 will hit him next time...

The deep throw to Wilson was soooooo close.

What a digger that would have been.

That play is definitely in their back pocket and we will see it repeated again with Wilson, Stills and Grant!

The deep ball to Wilson was a bad pass. The third and one pass to Wilson was also a bad pass. Tannehill was under pressure and rushed the throw, but that was still a rushed and bad throw.

Fewthings,

Tannehills designed run plays were a thing of beauty

Tannehill could have thrown the ball away to avoid a couple of sacks

Grant is electric, must design plays to his strengths

Albert Wilson is going to make a lot of plays for us

This O can be very, very good but it will take both players and coaching to make it happen
