I know this is next offseason, but how would you feel aboout offering Vince Wilfork a contract to bring him back to Miami? If we dont feel their is a good NT in this years draft then we should def consider giving him 6-7 million a year to anchor the line. That will be to high for the Patriots.
 
Thats an idea but i guarantee that the Pats will tag him on the first second of availability.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the trifecta has found a guy they like and look for it late unless a stud (Raji) falls to 25 which wont happen....but i would look for a Baker out of Hampton or Stillman to be plugging up the middle here in Miami for the next few years.......and dont count out Solali he has shown the ability to be DOMINANT and i think he will shape up and we could have two great NT's considering how hard it is to find one imagine having two really good ones for 5 or 6 years.
 
Wilfork has said more than once he grew up hating the dolphins and still hates them...
 
Well I think a player can put aside his childhood hate for a team when big time money enters the equation. But this guy has franchise tag written all over him. What other Pats are free agents next year?
 
What I've had read most recently as yesterday, the Patriots would be interested in continuing to talk contract extension with Wilfork on one way or another. Probably use there franchise tag on him.

Although it was a rumor inside profootballweekly.com I can easily see it happen.​
 
Honestly, I know he is a great player and all, but the guy seems like a complete jerk. I'm not sure I would want him. It could destroy locker room chemistry.
 
Ya i really cant respect someone who pokes Brandon jacobs in the eye, spits at other players and is a complete a hole to the whole Dolphins O line.
 
They said after dealing Cassel that Extending Wilfork would be a Priority. I believe it was Rotoworld that reported that.
 
A dirty skumbayg like him deserves to stay on the Cheatriots. Admire his talent but have as much respect for him as I do his HC. No thanx.
