according to rumors the titans are to sign Kerry Collins pending a physical...what does taht say about Vince Young?
 
nothing? they took this guy 3rd overall when they couldve had Matt Leinart...I think it shows just how poor a QB he is

nothing. everybody knew young wouldn't be ready this year.

it saids something about billy volek.

Took the words out of my mouth. This says more about how much Volek is stinking it up then Young. Young wasn't expected to come in and start right away anyways (how many rookies are). Volek was basically handed the starting position and couldn't hold onto it. Vince Young will be fine. This doesn't say he sucks because there's no way the Titans are giving up on a player they invested 25 million guaranteed in because of a training camp and pre-season!

Volek is OK as a backup only....sucks as a starter...the only thing that would even make sense about Mauck is that he was with Saban at LSU when they won the title, but he hasn't played enough to know how good or bad he is....probably not good enough to be an NFL starter.....Cpep was the right choice!!!
 
they just prolly want to get a qualitity backup for Volek becaues Young wont start this year in my opinion and shouldnt
 
Vince Young is years away from starting. Alot of people here wanted to deny that til they were blue in the face leading up to the draft but now they are seeing its the truth. The guy looks lost out there. He can't ignore his passing options and run all over the field like he did in college, the speed of the NFL is too fast for him.

That and Tennessee isn't comfortable with Volek as their starter. They don't want to have to rely on Young if Volek goes down.
 
volek will leave probably.but i dont see how vince young has been doing that bad.hes doing better i thought he would.but i didnt see his third pre season game yet.
