Vintage games

Yes. Very, very often.

I’m old (60)… it’s great to rewatch games I saw as a kid or read about.

In the day there was no nfl network or Sunday ticket.

The game changed lots after 1978.
Yea you got me by a few years but Im a sucker for nostalgia, especially when it comes to the Dolphins or sports in general. This was tonight's game of choice....

I don't, I try to put every game in the rearview mirror and never look back. That might change with some prolonged success and championships.

But for now, I can't stomach the past. Not just with football, but in general, I always look to the future.

I remember what's important and wipe the deck clear of everything that isn't. Its just the way I am wired.

I move on quick.

I tend to agree. What is done is done.

That being said the mud bowl holds a special place in my heart.

Oh yeah, **** you bokamper 😂

This may be sad to actually type out, but the only game that really tugs on the heart strings for me is the Ravens OT win when we we're 0-13, in 2007 I believe.

no desire here but rock on man...rock on.

Agreed, I remember also in the late 1970s having to look at a scrolling nfl message bar on the bottom of my cable system to know what the scores were.

So tough in the 70s and early 80s to watch or know the scores of Dolphins games if you did not live in Florida. Luckily because Miami was so popular...Especially in NJ at that time, whenever the NY teams were not playing, or they needed on NBC an extra game for a double header football Sunday, Games with Miami were 1st considered.

Do you guys ever go back and watch old games? There's TONS of full games on YT and I work overnights and have some down time so a quite often I find old games that I remember growing up and its absolutely amazing.
Yeah. I have never understood why NFL does not include the entire catalogue of games as far back as TV broadcasting was done in an app. They have Gamepass but it only goes back a few years. The ones on YT are often partial or clearly recordings of recordings.

I'd pay a couple bucks a month to be able to go back and watch 70s and 80s Phins games on demand.

I do sometimes, but the quality is usually pretty bad.

I guess I'm spoiled with 4K high def.

I have GamePass which is now NFL+, and the library has every game from the 2009 pre-season up to this past Super Bowl. They also have some classic Super Bowls from before 2009, and I believe I saw Miami's 70s Super Bowls on there too. Of course, the older games are low quality. Just the other day I watched Miami with Fitzpatrick beat the Eagles with Carson Wentz 37-31.

It would be nice to have the capability to watch every game Miami played, especially because living in PA I only ever got to see them if they were televised locally, which was rare. In fact, it's only been about 6 years that I've been able to see Miami's game each week, first on a crappy, unreliable stream for a few years until I paid for GamePass. While the number of games I can see are limited, at least I can have football at any time of day or night, all year long!
