Still, I find it hard to believe that editors allow flagrant journalistic abuses under their watch every day to allow journalists to make up sources at their own discretion. I think there is a "source" but who knows what role they have. Could be the janitor...

Any reporter can claim to have a "source"...that way you can make something up and try to convince people you have insider info, if they wrote an article and didn't say they got it from a source you would automatically question where they got this info and assume its an opinion based article.

There's really no good reporting anymore, no real credible sources. Everyone just trying to be the first to break a story on twitter. There's no accountability for spewing false information and reporting it as fact.
