Volin says Miller will be phins kick returner

Must mean Gates is ready to take the reigns and be a full time receiver

Yep...they think gates can become a real receiver hugh...I can't wait to see him used correctly

I read on a earlier post today that the kids looks to avoid contact? that gives me flashbacks to Ted Ginn running out of bounds. Im not U of M fan so I cant say for sure hopefully the post on the guy was wrong!

My thought exactly. Fits with a recent report from minicamp that the coaches were targeting Gates all over the place, presumably to see how he was doing/progressing.

Gates has huge talent and potential. He's enough of a short strider to really get in and out of breaks fast but also, of course, that home run speed. More than most really fast guys, he's a fit for the WCO. The question is just the mental part of it.

Kid makes plays. When we traded up for him I knew he was our new starting Kickoff/punt returner.

The point being highlights can be misleading lol. Im not saying The Miller kid is a bad pick at all. Plus that post finally gave me 10 posts and now I dont get that stupid 10 post count banner being the other point of my previous post heh.

Guys please tell me what is the name of the song in this vid

no matter where he is, he will be a playmaker for us

I like how "scared of getting hit" he looks at 0:55 :rolleyes2:

In the youtube highlights I dont really see him avioding being hit, as much as just being fast and elusive. Hard for defenders to get a clean shot on him. People who have watched the Canes can say more about it.

third rb behind 2 injury prone ones. A returner when the two are healthy

He has a role here, and is a home run threat. I like the pick.

I watch every game he played and here's the story. He started the year like gangbusters. Fastest back through a hole i'd seen in a while. Pop and he's gone. Severval long TD runs then during the season he injured his shoulder i believe and ran like it. Who knows where he's at now. i think he failed one teams physical and that spooked people. If healthy he could be a real threat.... If healthy. The Fins docters do not have a good record on stuff like this so all we can do is hope he's better now. Frank Gore came off a terrible injury and fell to the 3rd and look how he turned out. Just saying.

WoW, he's really breaking some news there. This just in, the sky is blue.
