parcells' mantra has always been to bring a player back down to reality...i wonder if bill parcells had anything to do with humbling the rookie.

Awsome! :sidelol:"Quote from CK"
I wonder though if it had anything to do with his trash talking Tom Brady, or maybe something he said after the game. His head is getting a little big and running away from itself, maybe they were just letting a little air out.
Thats what it was, Brady called the comish after the game to complain that the rookie hurt his feelings. Goodel called in Parcells and chewed out his ***, went something like this:
"My god Bill get a $%$#*&^ grip on your players!! That was a HUGE embassement that a snot nose rookie is trash talking the NFL's most marketable figure, think how that's going to affect the bottom line!!!!! Get it taken care of .........."
So later on Bill calls Tony:
"Tony..... Just came back from Rogers office he's not pleased with Vonte's comments to Brady. Sit Vonte for the first series then allow him to play the rest of the game, &%^* Brady what a baby....."
Let his head get big... it could deflect a few passes... besides, if you ain't confident at that position ****y recievers will run you overWish I knew. Haven't heard anything. He must have broken a team rule. I don't think they would have benched him a series or two just because he's statistically one of the worst corners in the NFL. He had that miscue against Randy Moss but he came back firing and had that huge interception, really made Moss a non-factor for the rest of the game.
