Simple question. Vontae Davis caught an interception on a two point conversion. Does that not count towards your stats?

Yeah, it doesn't matter at all. I though it was a damn nice pick though, imagine if it had been while the Jets were throwing that pass for a TD.

I asked the same question, it just goes down as a failed 2 point conversion.
no, it doesnt count... it is a free play for the offense so anything the defense does that stops it, sack, int, tackle, etc.. does not count.. only thing that counts is a blocked kick against

vontae davis will be a pro bowl cb. Hes time to shine has come. WIll allen gone for the season. Chad pennington done for the season. Henne and vontae davis will both shine this year. But i really believe vontae davis is going to be something special.

Don't you get two points if it is returned and the ball back? I thought that use to be the rule

Yes, only in college could you return a fumble or interception back for a "reverse two-point conversion."
i also think that vontae is going to be a star in
the nfl, and soon. but.........
i am anxious to see the comments on the board after the
game sunday with the pats after he has faced wes welker
and randy moss.
I AM worried about sean smith. he really hasnt played that good the last
few games and i see a defeated look on his face at times.
and i think it may get MUCH worse after randy moss has taken him to
school.
NOW, the one thing that randy moss lives on is the long bomb and the
jump ball, two things that smith excells in. if he can keep up with moss,
i believe he can win a few of those battles.
he better. i dont like that look i have been seeing on his face.
