Vontae showed up again today. He made some nice hits and pass breakups. I dont think he got beat on anything deep today either. Glad to see him improving. Besides that 1 TD Smith had a good game as well
 
plus he almost got to Freeman on that CB Blitz,and even though he missed him by a hair,he didn't give up on the play...him&Sean are definitely getting better...
 
Sean Smith mis-played that ball, which is different than flat out getting beat. I would call that more of a mental error. He needs to fix it tho. Hopefully he will learn from the mistake.
 
Davis is our best player in the secondary.......agressive, fast, quick and brings the heat......I think we have a future pro bowler with him.....
 
Vontae has played pretty good all year. He is a rookie after all, he's also noticably better than the Sean Smith.

Davis is a good hitter with a nose for the ball. he plays fast and physical. he also has broken up sure-completions for at least two games in a row now. he has had his rookie moments, but I agree, he is getting better each week

I've said it before the lions really messed up with not getting Davis with the first overall pick. Davis is playing like a hall of famer already.
