I'm as much a Fin fan as anyone here but Carpenter is far from the best rookie in the league. Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, etc...

I love the Carpenter, but Merling and Long were both bigger than he yesterday.

Although, that FG was clutch.

I dont agree he is rookie of the year in the NFL but I will say he is the rookie of the year on the Dolphins........He hit some big kicks this yr and only missed 3 kicks.

Carpenter was a nice find but you can't tell me a kicker is Fins ROY over our franchise left tackle.
