For me college football is far more entertaining, with big surprises nearly every week, great games and awsome atmosphere's at all the top games.

I love the NFL, but for me, College ball is where it's at!

What do you guys reckon, which is your fave?

College Ball right now cause the Buckeyes are doin better...however certain NFL games are better and more entertainin to watch.

I have to say College is more exciting based merely on the fact that to have a real shot at the National Championship every single game is a must win.

Business and politics get in the way to often in the NFL.

But I definitely love both.

you must win every game to stay alive in college. every week is HUGE. you CAN'T LOSE. that's why college is so great. the only downside is the big teams never schedule the good small schools.

college football... if i didnt have a fantasy football rooting interest, teams like Cleveland and the Jills wouldnt interest me. i can watch just about any college game though.

it's not even close, maybe if CFB got a playoff system then we could talk but CFB is pretty boring. it's the same teams every year that have a chance to win it all, they play 2 maybe 3 tough games and the rest are creampuffs. Wake me up when they determine a real Champion through a playoff system.

You can lose a game - OU was thrashed in their conf title game a couple of years ago and they played for the Nat'l Title their next game. You have to win just about every game but when there's only 2-3 tough games it's not as difficult as you make it out to be.

And they lost, shouldn't have been there to begin with. Yes there are faults with the BCS system but there are plenty of schools that have much more than "2-3" tough games. Especially in the SEC and Big Ten.

and how many teams end up undefeated? or even with 1 loss? very few. you make it sound like there are a bunch of teams at the end of the year who have a chance at the title. there are plenty of upsets in those "easy" games every year that ruin a team's chances.

Pro is better. College is good when there are big matchups, but I don't really enjoy watching Texas play Rice

I love college and all, but I like the NFL more simply because of the team I follow. If I didn't love the Miami Dolphins so much, I would have to take college football, simply because of overtime, and the sheer number of games played.

I was having this discussion the other day.

To me it's not even close.
I'm the biggest fan of The Dolphins over any team including any team in college football but I'd rather watch college football any day over an NFL game.

The players are hungrier and the games are much more intense and competetive IMO. These kids play for pride representing their colleges and for the chance to someday get paid to play the game.

Free Agency in the NFL, while helping to keep the league even has killed one aspect of the game that made it so exciting before and that's TRUE rivalry.

In college, you are who you are and you feel that pride deep. If you're a Miami Hurricane, an Ohio State Buckeye, a Michigan Wolverine, an Oklahoma Sooner, whatever team you are that team defines you.

Players would fight simply to defend the honor of their team.

That level of intensity and rivalry used to be in the NFL until the Salary cap and FA arrived. You don't really have the same intensity as players for the Dolphins may play for the Jets or Patriots the very next year.

I understand why FA and the Salary cap was instituted in the NFL but I can't ignore how it's taken away from the NFL either.

Might as well ask whether I prefer home videos or Citizen Kane. NFL all the way!

I will occasionally watch college football but I like to watch the NFL more.
