thats really tuff.

i'd have to say the 72 team, with a few changes. but i would probably pick the wrong ones, so why mess with perfection!:D

Could you imagine this team:

QB Dan MArino
RB Ricky Williams
WR Chris Chambers
WR Mark Duper
TE Randy McMichael
CB Madison
CB Surtain
FS Marion
SS Scott
MLB Thomas
DE Taylor

I'm done for now, but that team would kick a**!!

I'd like to see Czonka as FB with Ricky behind him.. ouch..
Then stick Clayton with Chambers, with McDuffie and Duper coming off the bench.
and of course Danny running it all

Give Dan Warfield, Chambers, Duper and Clayton and he would throw for 10000 yards a season behind the HOF interior line of Keuch (soon), Langer, Little w/Webb and Evans

just as an FYI - here is the current team

QB Dan of course
RB Larry Csonka and Mercury Morris (RW needs more than 4 game to get in this group)
Wr Paul Warfield and Mark Clayton
TE Jim Mandich
OT Richmond Webb and Norv Evans
OG Larry Little and Keuch
C Dwight Stephenson
K Olindo Mare

DE Bill Stanfill and Jason Taylor
DT Bob Baumhower and Tim Bowens
LB Zach Thomas, A.J. Duhe and John Offerdahl (so much for the HOF Nick he's tied w/Larry Gordon for 4th)
S Jake Scott and Louis Oliver (over Dick Anderson - please, even Glenn Blackwood is over Dick )
CB is the tightest race behind the #1 in Sam Madison
#2 CB Don McNeal 21% / Patrick Surtain 22% / Troy Vincent 23% I agree that the 2 #23 are great, but Don McNeal
P Reggie Roby

I bet Woodley and Fiedler would have a lot to talk about on being fan whipping boys
