IMO the trade deadline is a sellers market. Team’s that think they are one piece away make moves. I would not take a SB contender’s 2nd for Waddle or 3rd for Achane. It would require compensation equivalent to a late 1st or late 2nd for me. It might involve taking additional salary or swapping picks on our end.

No it will not. That's not a factual decision. That is a political decision to string along the team and the fans. That guy was fired.
 
Achane is a simple decision imo, if you think he a worth 14 million a year after 2026 you keep him, if not you trade him, or you will get a company pick for him when he is lost to free agency. Because the franchise tag in 2027 is 14.5 million projected.

And that’s just starting off talk price not if a team meets it I’d move him. Would have to depend on who the team is and where they might pick.

Anything less than what listed and we got rinsed. Don’t care achane is a rb, he’s a top 5 offensive skill player in the league.
 
Reasonable? Round 2 picks.

Love both of those guys but Waddle isn’t dominating games on his own and Achane is a small RB playing a position that leaves guys with shorter careers at the best of times.

If anyone is offering first day picks, you have to jump at it. 2nd round offers, maybe. Depends on if there are other components to the trade. Keep them otherwise.

Just my thoughts.
 
Jaylen Waddle: 2nd- & 5th-round draft picks

De'Von Achane: 3rd- & 6th-round draft picks, partially because in half a season he will be demanding a big payday

Waddle won't be considered worth a first-round selection for a borderline #1 WR, while RBs aren't valued that highly unless they're game-changing power runners.
 
As a running back, maybe a 2nd rounder for Achane. I'd keep him.

Waddle would probably get a 1st rounder, but it would be from a contending team. So, probably a late 1st. Id prefer keeping him too.

He's not even a top five running back. No one with a functioning brain is taking Achane over Gibbs, Barkley, Taylor, Dobbins, Cook or Robinson. And for just one year, Henry.

Then we have Jefferson, Chase, Nacua . . .

Just ridiculous.

Yeah maybe don’t talk football naming cook and dobbins is comical.

Gibbs/taylor/jefferson/chase are the only four in front of him. The rest are highly debatable and that’s with them playing behind elite oline while achane might have 3 of the top 5 worst olinemen in the league currently. Most importantly achane has shown the ability to contribute in limited touches. He’s not getting the ball handed to him 30 times a game while being targeted 5 or so times a game in the air. Achane does his work on 20 or so targets on the ground and air while playing behind dogshit and still putting up elite numbers. Making him the perfect addition to an already good offense that wants to take the next step without a ton of targets to go around.

Rose colored or not, that’s what it’d take if not they are not worth moving.

Dobbins, Cook, Dowdle, Williams and Taylor all have more rushing yards and yards per carry than Achane.

Achane ranks 13th in yards/game. 13th!!! And 11th in yards/carry. Top five? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

ALL these running backs play under the EXACT same circumstances and guess what? They're all the exact SAME AGE with the exact same futures, so weird!

Most importantly, they're all better than Achane. And everyone except you and Marino666 or whatever knows it.

If you don’t have eyes or a brain then I can’t really help you. Rb is heavily influenced by their oline and Achane has by far the worst putting up these numbers with maybe the worst line in the league. This is an actual hole Jonathan Taylor ran through this year by the way
