Your gonna rave about Feeley, who didnt come in until after half time, playing against the second string of TB, and that is all good. But, then you knock Orton when he plays against the second stringers? Is that hypocritical, or what?

of course! There's nothing else to talk about but the QB position. some people don't understand that they both suck. They think one turd is better than another turd?

anyway you look at it, leinart/jacobs/vick etc, is who we really should be watching.

I don't think so, we need to be patient enough to let a QB developed, who's already on this team. If we get those guys next year, we back at square one, trying to develope someone and going through that growing pain, we might as well go through it this year and see if we really need those guys next year.

im just not as optimstic about it as you. however, i believe we could win games with a young guy in there. if our running game is as good as expected this season, they we could win 5-8 games on that as it is. QB's don't have to be winners, just managers. theres 52 other guys that can win the game for you. all the QB has to do is NOT SCREW UP.

LOL the hypo is back. Orton will be good. I wish we would have drafted him or Frye or McPherson or Greene. Saban chose not to. Also it isnt that AJ had good stats, it is he showed things that he was criticized for, poise under pressure, not throwing farther tha 5 yds, scoring points etc.. Yep it was against second stringers, but he was under pressure many times. The TD pass he stepped up away from heavy pressure and completed a nice pass for a TD. I havent heard the majority say he automatically is teh starter and thats it, rather that he should start next week against Atlanta to see if he can fare the same against 1st teamers.

Now quit whining Gus sucked, face it, he is what he is, a backup. Maybe AJ is just that as well. But even Jaws who criticized AJ said that with experience and confidence he could be a starter. Aj is the only one of teh two that you can say that about. Like it or not. Your name under your avatar is correct, trouble is, megolo-maniacs are generally only rightin their eyes, not everyone elses.

If we could end up with Omar Jacobs I would be thrilled. This kid is teh real deal. He has the arm, the confidence, teh attitude and the fortitude to make it big. I want the Dolphins to grab this kid. I said the same thing about Roeth at the beginning of his junior season at Miami. Jacobs is special.

Oh no, you all always come around to my side. It just takes you 3 or 4 months. But, I like that too. So I can always say, "I told you so". I dont draw the fire on my statements of "We had a bad draft" anymore. Some still hanging in on that, but not with as much fire now.

I can't help your learning curves are so bad, that it takes you 3,4 or 5 months to finally see it.

My god dude, all you had to do is watch Roethlisberger, when he was at Miami, play against Louiseville. That game was a hell of a shootout. Problem is, many dont bother, or cant watch those games. All they got to liv eby is some hype machine like Some "guru" on ESPN.

That game sold me on Ben. And, he is living up to my projection as the best in the 04 QB class.

Orton was mine in the 05 class. See if it still pnas out that way.

Kellen Clemens is my projected best in the 06 class. See what happens with him.

What's more ironic is how everyone was raving about Frerotte after our first game and he played vs. 2nd stringers too.

That doesn't make any sense either.

Do I think Gus is our long term solution? No. But he is our solution for now so get used to it and stop your damn belly aching!
