Waiting a long time.

I am so pumped about this up coming season. For YEARS I've been wanting to see an offense do something NEW. But we see the same WCO or power running styles from every team in the league. I've always thought, having two elite RBs on the field at the same time would DESTROY a defense. As long as the RBs are like Westbrook or Faulk, guys who can run routes as well as run the ball. This is what we have in our offense now. It will create match up nightmares for defenses. With Brown in the slot and RW in the backfield, a defense is reduced to guessing what packages to put on the field and whether to play pass or run.

For example, assume Brown is in the slot and the defense wants to play the run, they will have a LB on him. Brown one on one against a LB is a win for us. Assume the defense puts a DB on him to play the pass, Brown blocking against a DB is a win for our running game. If both RW and Brown are in the back field and they run out for short passes, the defense can not bring help to the LBs covering them. The only advantage the defense would have is against our lead blocking by the "FB" which would be either RW or Brown. But our system is designed without a FB, so that is insignificant. This system will work out great. Look for many teams to copy us once we have a lot of success with it.

I'm just counting the days. If our QB (Feeley or Frerotte....preferably Feeley) play his postion right, he will have so many weapons! Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, Heath Evans (on certain HB situations), Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, Derrius Thompson, David Boston, Randy McMichael, and Donald Lee (provided he gets his head straight)!
