Last season the five teams with the top ranked backfield were the Broncos, Cardinals, Patriots (ugh!), Seahawks, and Packers. It would be safe to say that these teams must possess depth at such positions: link.

(I know that when such needed positions present themselves (waivers) we will take action to bring in such prospects in.)

My question: Which of those teams- in the linked site posted- will have an avalanche of waived corners that we can potential sign? Curious...

Quality Cbs are just hard to get off waivers in this league . . . And teams go after the "other guys".

Hell Will Davis was claimed and Jamar Taylor was traded . . . Have to go through the shuffle of those type of guys and hope one pans out.

Will Davis was traded to the Ravens. Davis & Taylor were scraps from a team with no corner depth. Let's hope for more quality from a team with more talent.

When teams give up a pick for scraps from a team with no depth, iit kind of tells you what to expect from roster cuts in reference to the CB position.

We should see who Seattle cuts at rb

They have a lot of guys and we may find some talent there

Looks like our old GM, Speilman is collecting high profile CB's in Minnesota...

Xavier Rhodes: 13 01 025
Trae Waynes: 15 01 011
Mackensie Alexander: 16 02 054

Looks like a possible swing and a miss on Waynes (who was the highest pick), putting Alexander at nickle (where he belongs) to compete with Captain Munnerlyn, Terrence Newman starting outside. Just 2nd year for Waynes so he could still improve. Terrence Newman is a freak. Still competing and will be 38 in Sept.

Would be great if we could wrestle Waynes away from them for a day 2 pick. Throw them a dlineman in the process (not like they need any, that defense is stacked all over)

I don't know. Looking at the depth chart, they could use an upgrade at SDE for Brian Robison (5 sacks). Or at least a younger player since he is 33.

The only DB move should be Chris Culliver. He can play all three CB positions and FS. He would immediately become the best athlete in the secondary, and he is still under 30, and had a stellar 2014. He would, of course, start on the PUP. Lucas and Hendy may need a year on the PS. Aikens, eh, mediocre at best. Culliver would bring playoff swagger and veteran savy to a very young unit.

Minnesota would probably want a better 3rd tackle option (which miami can't afford to give them)

not that they part with a 1st round pick corner in year 2 anyways...
