the dude is lightening off the edge and he gets low

I saw at least 4 FAST pressures

he had one near sack and forced 3 scrambles

I LOVE this kid
 
I like what I see from him rushing, but he really needs to work on his cover skills.
 
Wake was applying pressure all game long.

He almost caused a turnover at the end forcing Freeman to throw it early with a bad throw that Vontae almost picked off, but dropped.

I can't wait to see the Porter, Taylor and Wake package for third and long's that Pasqualoni has had them all together on in training camp.
 
I have to agree. needs a couple more moves and the dude is future star.
 
It's eay too see why Miami went after this guy so hard in the offseason. A little more NFL seasoning and this guy will be lights out.
 
I'm going to preface this by saying I realize that it has been 3 preseason games and Wake has a lot to learn... HOWEVER, when he does his speed rush and gets low to the ground, he looks a lot like Dwight Freeney. I see him taking on Charlie Anderson's 2008 role as the nickel pass rusher on this team. He looks terrific.
 
Yea he's a keeper for sure. Moses looked strong as did really ALL the 2nd team LB's and DL as well. That's the real strength of this team.
 
Could Charlie Anderson be cut? Wake, Walden and Moses have all outplayed him. Just some food for thought.
 
Charlie Anderson was also the culprit on that ST fumble after the blocked punt. All the 2nd string LBs played solid IMO.
 
After tonight Anderson does look like he's likely to go. Unless Sparano wants to send a message by dropping Torbor for that bonehead personal foul (not likely).
