Wake in year two!!!!!

Can you imagine if Wake really starts to get this defense.. I mean its only preseason but.. It looks like he's the real deal.. Learning from Porter and Taylor is really going to help his development.. Any thoughts????
 
Great first step, good speed rusher, but needs to work on a couple of moves. OT in this league are a lot better than in Canada, but I don like what I've seen so far. I will temper my feelings a little though until the season starts and he goes up against the real competition.
 
I haven't seen him playing at the same time as Taylor and Porter. Obviously, he wouldn't be playing with them - except on 3rd and long. On those 3rd and longs, though, I can see him causing a lot of problems, considering the amount of attention Taylor and Porter will demand. Also, Moses has looked very good. So we have at least four OLB's that look like promising pass rushers, and Langford and Starks have also looked good putting pressure on the QB. Merling hasn't looked bad either.

Lot of options.
 
i think this defense will be alot better then advertised.. i just hope we can get that back up shored up.. if we do that.. then i will feel alot better about this season..
 
I have a feeling we are gonna put some MAD HEAT on QB's this season.
 
i can wait for the Season with Wake Pass Rushing, only thing that upsets me is he is going to have a Short Career cause he is 27. I wish the Dolphins new something earlier.

who says he has to have a short career, taylor and ferguson are both 35, porter is 32 and there still in there prime from the looks of it so far. then youve got guys out there like Donnie Edwards(36), Junior Seau(40), ZT(36 when the season starts), who are all still able to make an impact in the league.
And the one difference is Wake has 2 years of Canadian Football wear on his body, the rest of these guys have 15-20 years of the pros on there bodies. If Wake stays in shape he could easily play 10-15 years in the pros
