Wake vs Clay Matthews..who is better at blowing up plays

Just want your opinion of who is the more beast and better at blowing up plays as Clay says in his Dick's/Nike commercial.

Stats are pretty even, though Matthews had a INT for a TD Wake had more FF, sacks and tackles are pretty much offset (Matthews 2 more tackles wake .5 more sacks. So basically a wash as far as stats.

Both are insanely intense, though I think Matthews is more of a vocal and emotional leader, not that Wake isnt a leader but hooting and hollering just isnt his thing. Both cause pressure and force offenses to gameplan for them. I know Matthews is younger but i dont take that into account because Wake is at his football peak as well.

They are even a match in the hair department, Matthews with the long crazy hair Wake with i think (from training camp pics) back with the REAL Mohawk.

So what do you think?

Sorry, but Matthews! He is that Green Bay Defense look what he has done for that team, they have had a top 3 defense for the last 2 seasons

I believe Matthews was injured a game or 2 last season and still put up impressive numbers. Based on last years stats Matthews has the edge but wake is still improving.

Well I think is it a great battle though I think the best way to decide is giving a situation.....

Say 4th down (inside the 10) 4th quarter last play of the game you have to have a big play because a TD wins the game who do you want?????

Clay Matthews is the guy I want between the two, no doubt about it

Wake might be better at pass rushing (emphasize that "might" ) , but Matthews is an all around great linebacker. He does everything well, cover, tackle, pursuit, angles, blitzes, setting the edge ...

Wake is a lot more one dimensional than clay and that's why i'll give the packer my vote
