Wake's contract in more detail

When I first heard about how much money Wake contract was for I thought it has to be a back loaded deal or Ireland is nuts.......Wake is a Good pass rusher, not great and certainly not elite and the money as reported was for an elite DL-OLB......Wake is not good enough to beat double teams and most teams can control him with 1 blocker, hopefully he takes the next step and becomes that elite guy......I think he will be more effective in 4-3, having another DL next to him to stunt with and at times create confusion on passing downs will make him more dangerous........

what? wake is a great pass rusher. maybe not a great all around player, but a great pass rusher.
 
Seriously, this is a win-win for both sides. Ireland deserves a little more credit than hes recieved.
