Walden, Kershaw, and Moses

Moses is absolutely a lock. One of the most impressive players the whole game, starters included. He's put together three very good preseason games now and yes, he's an absolute lock to make the team. He might be the best backup LB on the team. Right now he is playing better at his position than Reggie Torbor is at his MLB position, or Cameron Wake at his WOLB position. We have no idea what's going on with Matt Roth, at this point we just have to start assuming he goes on PUP, and that means Quentin Moses is the 5th linebacker, in my eyes.

finally, Moses looks like the player he was at georgia during his junior year. he disappeared for three years and now it looks like he's back. he would be a GREAT asset if he found the pass-rushing prowess that made him look like a first-round pick going into the senior year.

I'm not as convinced about Walden. This was really the first game he played this preseason where he flashed so much defensively, and he hasn't been making a huge impact on special teams. I do think he's a good STs player...but if I'm keeping him, that's why.

I'll tell you what, that near sack of his...he did a superb job of disguising his rush just before the snap. That was a remarkable job by him. He also had another rush where the RB tried to block him and he did an excellent job of getting outside the runner's frame and dipping his shoulder to just go right by him without even having to slow down. He's developing some veteran moves. I wonder if playing behind Jason Taylor in 2007 and in 2009 isn't finally rubbing off on him.

CK...Before last nights "game" I wouldn't have thought saying this...but I think it's time....we should try to trade Roth and a pick for a real receiver.
The Dolphins have enough Linebackers...and there's an obvious need for a top receiver. If and when Roth is healthy...that should be an option.

Sometimes I just don't get you. Receiver was not the issue last night. The coaches made a concerted effort to get the ball to Brian Hartline to see what he's got and he rewarded them with 79 yards on 3 catches, plus he drew 3 penalties, and he had another 39 yard catch that was called back on a real ticky tack offensive pass interference penalty (he had his guy well beat).

With the emergence of Brian Hartline, Greg Camarillo's nice catch and run, and Davone Bess being Davone Bess (despite a few preseason drops), receiver is the last thing this team should be worried about.

I'm worried about the safeties, the corners, the offensive line, the tight ends, the quarterbacks, and the team's general ability to get prepared to play a game in adverse conditions (short week, road, weather, dirt infield, they're not handling adverse conditions well).

Moses' a lock. Walden's a lock. Kershaw has looked good, not sure if he makes the team though. I know Torbor looked terrible last year, but has looked alot better in TC/Preseason.
