2 things jump out. Stoneburner over Lynch and Lippet over Bowman. I do think they like Lippett so that could happen but I don't think they cut Lynch a guy they drafted just a year ago. If we keep 6 WRs. Hazel will get stiff competition from Bryd and Preston. the team needs size

don't see a scenario where Damien Williams is cut, especially in favor of LaMichael James. we could keep four HBs to fit James, but Williams is not going anywhere.

Didn't agree with LeMichael James beating out Damien Williams for the third back. I'm not sold on Williams and still think there will be other options out there, but James would be a hard sale for me. I also can't see keeping JD Walton and Sam Brenner on the the team. Both can play center or guard so I think on stays and the other goes.

Interesting. Hopefully Vigil and/or Luc would make it on our PS...good players with potential. Hull v Vigil will be a good battle. Tripp has to start showing something this camp.

Looks like Ced Thompson over Don Jones, which makes sense, but he has to show he's a better STer than Jones.

Here is Walker's training camp preview.

The Miami Dolphins open training camp on July 30 at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Here's a closer look at the Dolphins' camp, which wraps up on Aug. 17:

Top storyline: Miami's top storyline is the progression of the passing game. In a strategic move, the Dolphins got rid of three of their top four receivers (Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, Brandon Gibson) and their starting tight end (Charles Clay). The replacements are Greg Jennings, Kenny Stills, rookie and first-round pick DeVante Parker and former Pro Bowl tight end Jordan Cameron. The goal of Miami's front office was to acquire more athletic and physical receivers who better fit the skills of fourth-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Accuracy and ball placement have been issues at times for Tannehill. Sometimes, his throws are too left, too right or too high, and Miami's new receivers are better at adjusting and fighting for the football. Players such as Jennings, Parker and Cameron also have the ability to be prolific in the red zone. The Dolphins led the NFL last year in red zone trips but scored a touchdown only 54 percent of the time.
The Suh Effect: The early reviews for Suh have been excellent. Suh was dominant in the spring and looks to carry that over into training camp, the preseason and regular season. The Dolphins invested $114 million to sign Suh in free agency. He made about two or three "wow" plays per practice with Miami. In fact, Dolphins defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle told the team's website they've had to dial Suh back a bit in practices because he was causing too much havoc for the offense. Suh's presence and play have instilled confidence in his teammates on defense

Vigil and Hull possibly make it.. Way too many linebackers that havn 't proved much.

Agreed. He showed well enough to earn a roster spot

Other things: Lynch being cut for Stoneburner? nah

I hope we keep Bowman over Will Davis

Well I think I am in the minority but as I have said before I don't think Lynch's roster spot is safe by any means. We haven't seen enough of him, not sure who the other tight end will be necessarily at this point is its not Lynch, he may not even be on the roster at this time.

I stopped reading after cut DW...There is no way in hell LJ a smaller back than LM is going to be the #2...

I used to think Lynch was a lock but the only time we heard from him was the 2 or 3 times he dropped a pass in OTAs...all of OTAs. I wasn't even sure he was on the team anymore since he never showed up for rookie camp after the draft when he was eligible to be out there. I'm not sold on him making the roster anymore. Maybe the injury with his back has effected him mentally and physically enough to where he's no longer effective.

What a silly article with camp starting in less than a week.

yeesh 5 guards...you keep that many it means you don't like your starting options...you'd be keeping guys you'll never activate on game day which seems like a waste to me

has walt aikens being cut...that would definitely help will davis cause when you get past the 2 deep it's all about specials
