Wallace more comfortable: Mike Wallace said he and quarterback Ryan Tannehill have not missed a chance to work out together this offseason, other than the first day when Wallace was away. “We didn’t miss one day,” Wallace said. This might mean an increase in accuracy when Tannehill targets Wallace deep down the field — a point of contention last season.

Last year, “I didn’t feel like I knew what was going on,” Wallace said. “It’s still new, just because it’s a new offense, but at the same time I feel a lot more comfortable.”

Lazor is picking up the pace with Tannehill in drills.

“The quarterback’s got to play at game speed and that’s the first thing that we’re trying to do with Ryan from the very beginning,” Lazor said. “Play at game speed every day, and what does that feel like? The only way to learn it is to do it.”

Good to hear on both accounts....

The playing at game speed right off the bat is something I love to hear....it may be rough at first (as he is still learning a new offense), but things will progress much more quickly. Really excited to see what happens this season as it seems like many of the players are much happier with how everything is progressing so far.

I too like the part about playing at game speed EVERY day, I agree that is what Tannehill needs (in addition to as many reps to Wallace as humanly possible)

With $11M in the bank and another $19M guaranteed over the next few years how could you NOT be comfortable. LOL.

Im confused did he work with tannehill this off season or not? I could of sworn it was reported he didn't. Here it says he did.

I believe Wallace was humbled last season....it also didn't help that Sherman wanted him to play out of his element...hopefully Lazor adapts the offense to the players as opposed to the players being forced into the offense...

17 million comfortable. Now his overrated azz needs to step up.

This is all well and good. I just hope the line works out. That is all I care to hear about til PS.

That's what good coaches do, adapt the game to strengths and mask the weaknesses. Sherman constantly forces things...
