ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (AP) - The brother of Detroit Pistons All-Star Ben Wallace appeared in court Thursday and was released on a $500 personal bond on charges stemming from one of the most violent brawls in NBA history.
David Wallace of Selma, Ala., was among 12 people - five Indiana Pacers players and seven fans attending the Pacers-Pistons game at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Nov. 19 - to be charged in the melee.
Wallace stood silent to the charge of misdemeanor assault and battery, and a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf, said Paul Walton, an assistant Oakland County prosecutor.
