Ingram would be nice, but it looks like hes gonna be the big FA sweepstakes winner this year.

I assume those are who you want Miami to sign? would be very costly I think to get those 4 guys. but heck we could cut Albert in your scenario which could pay for 1 of them right off the bat

There is a lot of talent on that list. Who actually makes it to FA will tell the real story. I would add a few other names I hope we sniff around:

Trumaine Johnson CB
Dontari Poe DT/NT- off bad season and back injury?
Dominique Easley DT
Bennie Logan DT
Ronald Leary G
Jabal Sheard DE
Calais Campbell DE/DT
Chandler Jones DE/OLB
Donte Hightower LB

Now of course I get we can't sign all of them, I'm just saying they guys I think could improve the talent on our team at their position and I think they could legitimately be available in FA.

Ideally in my mind we sign Leary and warford and ditch alberts salary to offset one of those signings still allowing for a splash type signing say Melvin Ingram.

Gonna be interesting to see how things play out and how differently the front office approaches things vs the consensus of the fans wishes

We do this song and dance every year and then most of them are resigned.

I don't see a lot that I like at LB to be honest. I think Ingram and Jones will be too costly. I do see talent at guard and some real good players there. Assuming they make it to free agency, I think that's the way to go. Nail down guard and draft defense.

Just picked a few Miami may have interest in.We may sign one of the bigger names. I myself would rather go for the blue collar free agents that can get it done, but are the not the front name players.

Logan Ryan from New England would be a good addition. Belichick has 15 Free Agents and they are not all going to get paid. While there is a general mindset that New England is all about the system and the players who leave struggle elsewhere, Logan Ryan makes a lot of sense because it would address depth in a position of need and also take from our major opponent.

I would rather do what was suggested in this thread and sign 2 guards and stay away from Ingram who is going to demand a ransom. the value in this FA is at guard and I think it is time to move Tunsil to LT and dump Albert. like you said get players in the rest of free agency that can simply get the job done but not break the bank. if I wanted to get more athletic at LB and we do then I'd look to sign Sean Spence. hes not a starter but can fill in as needed

Supposedly Hightower is going to be able to test the FA market.
Dont'a Hightower - LB - Patriots

Free agent MLB Dont'a Hightower is expected to reach the open market.
Per reporter Tom Curran, there were no "extensive talks" between Hightower and the Patriots down the stretch of the 2016 season. Curran expects the Pats to sketch out the "parameters of what they will offer with the understanding Hightower will test the market." There have been indications Hightower is seeking more than $10 million per season.

I hear you bro. I think we have a new coach and a better future that we maybe able to get some upgrades for this roster.

I think we need to sign 2 first rate guards in free agency. Get those spots shored up once and for all. Move Tunsil to left tackle. Hopefully Pouncey can stay healhty (for once). If he does we could have one of the better o-lines in the league in 2017.l

I'd hate to sign anyone from the Patriots. So much of those players success is the Patriots superior schemes and high football IQ as an organization. More times them not those players aren't close to have their Patriots success elsewhere.
