Well, I've decided to keep him in place for the time being and give him this last shot. If he doesn't get us to AT LEAST the AFC Championship game, I'm cutting him and he's gonna have to go back to being a porn star again.

Pretty much sums up where I stand here....

How would you really know as fans how good a coach he is?
There are too many differing opinions on Wanny from all over.
The questions obviously arose on him during his time with Da Bears.

All we can do is look at what he has done....
He, his staff or both have put together one hell of a roster, while keeping most of the original players and without ever breaking the salary cap bank. Personell wise I'd say you have to give them an A. Coaching and scheme.... I just don't know.... I feel they have been very conservative at times and that conservatism has cost us games. I could be wrong on that though... I mean how much of the conservatism is because of the weak links on our roster or was it just plain bad game mgmt? I dunno.

As Phan4ever brought up Wanny and his crew seems have seemed to allow these guys to lower their intensity and not keep their arses in line as he said....

So I agree that their scheming and leadership abilities are questionable while their personell moves have been impecable.

Is Wanny a bad coach.....

One thing is for sure....

The roster is loaded and there is NO reason why this team dosen't advance far into the playoffs. If Wanny can't get it done with this team we will know for sure that he is a sub par coach.
If they win the Super Bowl though... the mystery will linger because we'll never know whether it was the talent level or the coaching that brought home the trophy.

Here's to keeping Wanny's coaching talent a mystery!
