Wannstedt in Pitt

Contrary to most others on this board, I think Dave Wannstedt will be a very good college coach at Pitt. I'm not saying he's gonna win the National Championship, but he'll keep Pitt competitive for as long as he stays, especially since the game-to-game competition isn't as great in college as it's in the pros. I wish him well, too. I think he was a nice guy. :)

I agree, I think he will have Pitt contending for a BCS every year, especially in the weak Big East!

I think that if Dave believes he has a creampuff job at a BCS school in a weak conference, he will have another thing coming to him. I fully expect WVU, Connecticut, and Louisville to make things interesting and to justify the inclusion of the conference in the championship system.

I wish Dave the best. His time may have expired here this year but compared to how other coaches have faired in the NFL, Dave wasnt half bad!
