Have listen to radio sports talk shows and NFL Today it is really coming out how much this team didn't believe in Wanny's coaching abilities. Last couple of years the players have been toeing the company line by saying the believe in him and that he was a players coach.

Now after week one, and all of Saban's success in getting his players to believe and play as a team people are coming out about how bad he was. I think it was on OJ's radio show today a player said it was nice to game plan and believe it will work was awesome. To see the results of the Denver game the players a pumped. Some the players were even excited about practice just to see the game plan Saban has in store for them. Even made comment that last year they knew the game plan wasn't going to work but had to play that way and that explains a lot.

Saban is really exposing Wanny because of the way the team played last week and what Wanny is doing in college. Feels good to be excited for the next game and know that Miami will not get out coached and that we finally look like a real NFL team.

We should ban the use of the words Dave, Wannstedt, Wanny, or anything to do with him.

Seriously, he's gone! Let's be thankful! :D

BTW, I see the points you're trying to make but I just want to forget about him....as do most Phins fans I know.

That's great to know that the players are buying into the Saban's system and are aware of his superior game planning ability. It pretty much confirms what everyone already knew; Wanny is a horrible coach. I can't wait 'til Sunday to see what Saban's got for the Jets.

Thats a big reason why a lots of guys turned us down during wanny era's offseasons

All I can say is that playing for wanny may be frustrating.

If the players truly did not believ in the system they were playing under they should not have said everything was fine and they wanted to keep Wannstedt. I remember players like Taylor, Bowens, and Madison saying exactly that. In fact Taylor and a couple of others actually met with Huizenger with their support of the so-called coach. If they felt differently, they should have at least tell the truth or plea the 5th.
So don't come out now and start talking about how bad things were because I don't want to hear it now.

If the Dolphins continue to play as hard and good as they did against Denver then it speaks volumes on how bad of a coach Wanny really was. I always thought that Miami won despite of him and if that happens to be true, he probably cost your team @ least one game in the big show.
