Who is the worst coach in the NFL?

Butch Davis blows (although I have a bad feeling he might be our head coach next year).

In my opinion.........MIKE TICE Is by far the worst coach in the NFL. Im sorry this guy has no clue whats going on. Wannstedt is a very close second though.
 
It's insane to even have Parcells on that list. I really can't think of anyone worse than Wanny.
 
Wanny is by far the worst coach.He cant even draft.There is no good that comes from him that I can see.

Another guy that should be on the list is Capers a GM who is a HC and shouldnt be.

I disagree with Butch. He showed he can coach at UM. He just needs to get his people and get that program going. It's not like he had a great team there when he arrived and had to suffer thru those 2 QBs.

Mike Tice's records with Minnesota (after inheriting a 5-11 team):
2002: 6-10 (and BEAT Wanny's Dolphins)
2003: 9-7, just barely missing the play-offs on a fluke

Yeah, no improvement there. No clue what's going on.

Wanny in Miami (after inheriting a 9-7 team that made it to the second round of the play-offs):
2000: 11-5, lost in second round
2001: 11-5, lost in first round
2002: 9-7, eliminated on last Sunday of season (and LOST to Tice's Vikings)
2003: 10-6, eliminated on next-to-last Sunday of season

Ummmmm yeah, Mike Tice is definitely the worst coach in the league, and worse than Wanny. :rolleyes:

Didn't the Vikings start 6-0 last year?? 3-7 sure isn't a great finish.

I agree, a bad finish, but the Vikings are improving under Tice. The Dolphins have regressed every year under Wanny in terms of the play-offs.
 
Reading the polls, I was very interested in who the players thought was the best coaches (no surprises there) and who they would most like to play for. Wannstedt rated worse than almost all of them, it seems. But not THE worst, like you said.
