I was bored today and decided to watch his tap, i'm happy i did.

I would LOVE for the organization to take him in the 6th or 7th round as a developmental player.

He tore his ACL late in the season but before that was playing at a really high level.

Watching his tape is actually hard to do because GT's QB is absolutely horrible, i think if this guy had a somewhat competent QB throwing him the ball he would have some really gaudy number.

Regardless of whether or not he suffered and injury he was a development player anyway seeing that he had only played collegiate football for 2 season.

So while he rehabs he'll be able to get coached up and improve his knowledge of the position. He was also a former baseball player and it shows he's got great concentration and hand eye coordination.

He does run the comeback route pretty well and RT does hook up really well on those routes, but I don't really see anything special in regards to size or speed. Looks like a slot receiver in the NFL.

I didn't know he hurt his knee. Doubt he goes in the 4th if he is still going through rehab. He's a good football player though. Id be willing to look at him in the 7th given his injury, or if he goes undrafted definitely make a priority of him as an UDFA.

With that injury, it definitely becomes a risk to take him any earlier than the 6th/7th IMO.. I like nearly every part of his game though. Excellent YAC (& vision), strength, hands, high-pointing the ball, blocking, consistent routes.. My issue is he doesn't really have a second gear - which limit what he can do at the next level. You never see huge seperation from him, and that injury might only make things worse. Worth a flyer, I'd say.

Here's a collection of his game film if you want a more in-depth look.

Hes only played football for a few years, still tons of upside.

4th is maybe high, but thats for a team that sees 1st rnd talent and doesn't want to let it go. it only takes one team.

great find, was unaware - me likey.

What stands out to me is that physical, no nonsense, in your face, nasty wr.

Not looking at the numbers so I may be off, but my perception is that the Joe Philbin/Jeff Ireland WR selections were more in the 5'11/6'1'' & 185-205lbs range - and again, my perception is that the Joe Philbin/Dennis Hickey and year with the influence of Mad Mike is more in the 6'0''/6'4'' & 200-225lbs range.

Bigger, thicker, tougher - more imposing - hmm... just like the new DL signing of that imposing, physically intimidating monster.

Fundamentally for me, football is about blocking and tackling and also - knocking the living sh!* out of someone [technical term].

Just like a big hit on defense, often by the secondary can ignite a team, a crowd.. a momentum change. Likewise, on offense, a big crack back/devastating open field block by a WR can have a similar effect.

Impose Your Will on the opponent. Like this and if the one year with Hickey shows - he likes the small school kid, or those who have yet to hit their peak and have room to grow with pro coaching.

We don't have a enough picks for a developmental player. We traded our 7th in the Wallace deal.

I'd say undrafted free agent sure.

Exactly the opposite of what Philbin wants on offense. He wants finesse in his O-line, running game, and WRs. Look at the way Philbin/Lazor run their offense: they meekly take what the defense gives them. In fact, they have no choice. The entire league knows that under Philbin, Miami won't go deep or run it down an opponent's throat; they throw short passes, period! Get rid of Philbin and company, and find a Head Coach (and staff) who wants to "impose his will" on the opponent!

If not for the injury, I think he'd be a guy flying up draft boards. One of my very favorite players in the draft. He and Bell are my favorite (again, not to be confused with who I think is best) WR's.

I thought he looked very good. I liked what I saw - he looked strong and competitive. I guess the big question is what condition is he in after the surgery?

Every player drafted after the third round is a developmental player. Even some first round players are considered developmental prospects.
