Fans are blinded by talent. Fans want talent no matter what baggage they bring to the team. It happened when Joey Porter came here. Fans loved him and defended that meatball not matter what. Same thing will happen if we UNFORTUNATELY land Brandon Marshall. Fans will love him because he's flashy. And he'll come here and be a goober during practice and fans will still defend that baboon.

Sometimes you have to take a chance on a player, I think Brandon Marshall is one of them. If we provide a disciplined and encouraging environment he can be handled and kept satisfied. He wll cost, but I think he's worth it - he's a difference maker.
It's called risk factor. It's considered. Some teams are worse off than others and are willing to gamble more. The Dolphins are probably not one of those teams. I could see a team like the Bears rolling the dice on a goober like Brandon Marshall. The Bears have a coach on the hot seat with a new offensive coordinator and a below average offense. If Lovie wants to keep his job, he'll probably pull out all the stops. Sparano, Ireland, and Parcells are not in the same situation.
Signing Brandon Marshall is a risk that you're aware of. It's no different than a guy coming into your place of business and applying for a job with your company and you're aware of his background. Is he worth the risk? He's a guy that has been convicted of minor theft and a possession charge. Is he worth the risk to you and your company?

If i played in denver for the last 4 years i'd probably have a rap sheet as long as both your arms. I live in Denver and I can honestly tell you that Josh McDaniels is douchebag and he lost his team last year after week 12. Dude thinks he's a GOD but honestly hes a one trick pony. Brandon Marshal has the talent and the skills to be the best WR of this ERA if he keeps working hard and i think he will. Joey Porter is a different animal and it's not fair to compare the two. One wants to play more and the other want's to be paid for what he's worth and deserves it. Just go look at his stats.
