Okay my fellow Fin fans. Enjoy the win. It was great.
However, a word of warning. I am seeing many fans on here just slamming the Jets and Bills. It is a very long season and there is a lot of football to be played. With the poor secondary play, erratic OLine play, and bone head penalties, anything can happen. It is WAY TOO EARLY to be thumping our chests and putitng down the other teams fans. We have not won anything, and in fact are 0-1 versus AFC East teams this year.
So enjoy, but be warned that crow tastes nasty.

I see us having a BIG weakness all year long against elite WRs. If we end up making the playoffs and playing a team like the Colts, watch out. Not saying we can't improve though.

No kidding. I've been eating it for over 30 years.

In the end I expect us to be exactly where we all thought. Anywhere from 8-8 to 10-6. Probably not quite into the playoffs but much improved. We are a few corners, Olineman, and a QB away form being very good. I can not wait until next year.

I expect to split with all the teams in the AFC East.

It's nice to see the team moving in a positive direction. I agree with your assessment, give Nick those players and a year at HC in the NFL and we will be a serious contender.

Excellent post fin-atic. Exactly what needed to be said at this time and point.

Exactly. Now if Gus can get some timing down with our WRs, we may be better this year in the QB department -- everything else has been there. We do still need some O linemen and DBs though.

I say anywhere from 9-7 to 11-5. I think this team has too much heart to finish .500 or below.

excellent point, it serves no purpose to become that which we loath, a troll. I will say, however, it sure feels good to be left alone by THEIR trolls. Sadly when our guys go out and troll it up they will be remembered as "FinHeaven" people and not as individuals.

Exactly, I was thinking the same thing yesterday, Gus has only been here since Spring, I wanted him here as a backup as he was decent at MN as a backup, but he is playing well and with a bit more time getting a better feel for the WRs and getting the timing down we may have a manageable starter and Pass Offense for the next couple years while we groom a QB pickup from next years draft.

Always be gracious in victory and defeat.

I promise those teams fans are inflicting enough internal pain and pressure that they do not need are input. And when the time comes (like next game) we may find a deluge of our ever present Bills memebers showing up here to rub our nose in it. We still a long way to go.

I agree and think the stupid penalties are the most glaring issue. There were some serious problems when we have teams stopped and all the sudden we get a penalty that allows them to continue down the field and score. I almost made me sick.

and we looked like crap our only road game of the year so far... a team is supposed to win at home, but the teams that win on the road are the ones who make the playoffs... until we show we can play well in an opponents stadium im not going to start talking **** about how good we are/will be or start talking about the playoffs...

It seems like they (penalties) come at a crucial time in the game. Might have even scored more points (coulda, woulda, shoulda)

..We aren't there permanently yet but it sure was nice to see this morning's paper with Miami Dolphins at the top of the standings in our division.

 C'mon guy's, our offensive line ain't the best but you can't say that there not getting better. They played against the toughest D we'll probably play all year. Yes, we still have to play kansas city, tampa bay,and new england, but what a game yesterday guy's ha! You got to have faith that if our "O" line keeps getting better so will the rest of the team. New offensive system, and changeups in the defense to boot. We've got a great kick and punt returner that we haven't had since I can remember and Ronnie Brown found more than a hand full of holes our line opened up yesterday :D . And what about those goal line stands our "D" fense made yesterday, not to mention Jason Taylor's sack and how about those bated down passes at the from our "D" line :rofl3: . I know we still have a long way to go and if we don't cut down on those damn penalties they could really hurt us in future games :yell: . If we can do that, stay healthy, continue to improve in our running game, and execute when plays matter and let's face it every play matters, as long as we can continue to improve and gain confidence week in and week out but stay humble who know's where we'll be come game 16. With Nick Saban as our coach :fire: and if we play like we did yesterday the rest of the season I myself only see 3 more losses possibly in the rest of the season. Wouldn't 12-4 be awsome considering last years 4-12, What a turn around it would be Ha!

I guess you are right, but after what we all suffered through; the Wanny/Spielmen era, last years offseason and season; we deserve to feel good and talk trash because the way we are playing now we could make the playoffs
