I have been gone all day in KC watching the Jets get their butts kicked, I kept an eye on the ticker to see how the dolphins game was going I noticed we whooped ***, All I want to know are we that good?, was it a fluke?,is Denver just overated, or is it combination? just wondering thanks;)

Only time will tell. I'm just going to enjoy the win while all the critics & Denver fans eat crow.

Probably a combination. The players were really up for this game, not sure if they can keep that intensity for every game. We will see next week how far we have come, tough divisional road game on the road. If we can steal a game next week we are sitting pretty early in the season.

When you thrash a team like that with all the penalties you have. That's no fluke. There "is" talent on this team and Saban's task is to cover up for the spots that aren't as talented.

Im it was no fluke. Denver really sucks imo. Even before this game I had them pegged as this years biggest dissappointment. Something about replacing your Dl with Clevelands just seems to me that it would really bring you down. Then you have a ton of rookie DB's, solid run stuffing safeties who are too slow in pass coverage and a team that just seems stale. Theyre this years version of last years fins imo.

It wasn't a fluke, actually the score could have been worse. Chambers dropped a TD pass right in the bread basket, he barely stepped out of bounds on a reverse that other wise he scored a TD on (we got a fg out of it). Also the only TD they got was on a Welker fumbled punt in our territory. I nthink we played well, we had some breakdowns that Denver just missed on, we jumped offsides like 5 times in the 1st half. I don't think it was a fluke though, they went right after us and we slugged them in the mouth.

They better DAMN WELL have the intensity up next week. Actually, I expect them to take it up AT LEAST 2 notches. This is Jet week, baby. :jetssuck:

I dont think it was a fluke IMO. We played really well today, passing especially. Although looking at our schedule, we have a tough road ahead, denver was probably one of the easier ones. I think the heat also played a big factor in the game today, it just looked like all the players on denver were about to pass out and die.

generally flukes do not happen in week 1 of the NFL. Professionals don't usually let flukes happen, much less in week 1. to much gameplanning to much traing involved. This was saban outmatching Mike Shanahan.
