When the inactives list came out and DT's name was number one, i shook my head in disgusts. I knew its one of Joe Philbin's bonehead move. ITS funny how no one has brought this up but I think not making DT active for that game against Green bay was ONE OF THE REASONS Miami lost. Think about it, 4th and one at the goal line ? Had the ball with three minutes and change left in the game ?

This is where big RBs shine, moreover, DT ran well the last time he played.

I will agree here. I thought the same exact thing, and then when the screen pass to moreno didnt work I turned to my buddy and said Thomas is much better than that on the screen.

head scrtcher. but Moreno done. No more of that is coming.....i think.

This would make sense except for a couple things. Daniel Thomas has never been a good power back, and Moreno has a much better nose for the end zone than Thomas ever will.

Thomas is great in the screen game. He's a fantastic pass catching RB, it's unfortunate he can't do much else.

actually, I think D Thomas has found the endzone more than alot of other players on this team. DT is the kind of guy who sneaks into the game as an unsuspecting guy.

In fact, the midirection play he scored on vs. Pats last year in red zone is exactly the play we needed to get 6 vs. GB last week after the punt block.

You would be right in most circumstances but Moreno was not ready to come back and should have been inactive. This isn't hindsight. I knew he shouldn't have came back before the game

Thomas has 11 tds in his 3+ year career... Moreno had 13 tds last season alone.

I was asking to take the points so I would not have gone for it. Considering Miami lost by three...

Not tough to do when every single one of your TDs are 5 yards or less... The vast majority of them from 3 yards out

Philbin has trouble trusting unproven guys, and since he never lets his young players develop, taking their lumps and still seeing enough action to be successful, that proven player will be from another team. That's why he trusts a one year wonder like Moreno even when he isn't even ready to come back from injury over a guy like Daniel Thomas.

Philbert doesn't give anybody he didn't draft a chance. We have have an outstanding 2nd round RB on the PS who we're not giving a look.

The guy that was on the street and didn't generate an ounce of interest, that was the guy that was going to be the difference maker? How about Tannehill just throw the ball to the wide open Clay instead? I don't know how he missed him, too busy locking in on Hartline I guess but they were both side by side at one point.
