I call this year for the Miami dolphins the 'Year of discovery' we will get to see as fans if last year was a fluke or not. Were we really a team on the rise? or were we an average team who beat bad teams (seattle, raiders, a brady-less patriots, an old brett farve jets team, 49ers team with a "stripper for a head coach" and san diego chargers team that was not very good! Some experts claim that we have one of the hardest schedules in the nfl. I look forward in discovering whether or not through this schedule to see if we are truly 'contenders' or 'pretenders'

I really believe no. If they don't have an 11-5 record or better this year I don't think it's because they will be any worse. I think the opponents will be stronger. It will only make this team better.

1-15 was a fluke. An injury filled, poorly coached fluke.

If you actually watched the games last year, then you would understand it was not a fluke. If you just saw the stats and what not, you could justify a fluke. But this team fought for those 11 wins and it should of been 12 wins, we let that texans game get away....

And if you didnt watch the games, go buy nfl replay and watch them. Its 40 bucks and its pretty awesome.

last year couldnt have been a fluke less. we played smart football in all of our wins and came up with timely drives when needed and made the key plays on d when needed. we didnt have 1 win that was just handed to us, we did just enough to win every game we did.

Pretty much says it all. We earned all of our games. Most of them came down to important late 4th quarter drives to win the game.

You don't win 11 games in the NFL because you're lucky or because of a fluke. Every team in NFL is competetive, and there are no easy wins PERIOD.

I wonder more about whether we improved over the last off-season than whether we played as well as our record. It seems like we have similar questions to be answered on Sunday as we did at the end of the season. Especially at WR. We need Salguero to write another column about how horrible we are so the team can start out hot.
