Because according to plenty of experts around the league and many on this board, Knowshon Moreno is just an average RB at best who simply benefited from playing with Manning last year.

Wrong! The man runs hard, runs strong, has great vision & moves and he consistently breaks tackles. And he plays with passion and emotion, which is something this offense and this team has lacked forever.

The RB spot is in very good hands again.....

My new favorite running back. I had hope for him when we signed him but after seeing how he played in the preseason and week 1, I can safely say I love the way he runs the ball. Great vision and patience, elusive while still powerful. He is our new go to back.

I'll eat some crow here and admit I was one of those who didn't think Moreno would have the impact he did today....he brings more then just his play...he brings a passion that is rubbing off on his teammates...glad i was wrong on this one.

So pumped watching Moreno run today. He's so firey, the entire offense fed off of Moreno. The crowd fed of Moreno. I FED OFF MORENO!! hah he was in a different planet today, gotta love his attitude and passion.

I must say, on that run in the 4th when he bounced off that guy at the 8 yard line and then decided to head straight north and run over three Patriot defenders for the TD, I may have cried tears of joy, LOL.

I think his great play made Miller step up too. Miller had a very good 2nd half. Moreno may have lit a fire under him. If he can step up his game a little more, were have a very good 1, 2 punch at RB. Been a while since we could say that.

Funny. I'll fully admit that I wasn't all that high on him. Now, I certainly wasn't upset, because it didn't cost us much, but I will fully admit that I did not expect what I've seen so far (though I still drafted him in my money league...). I love his motor and wish some other players on our offense had that same drive.

That being said, I've never felt the need to start a thread calling people out for being wrong about a player, and I've have MANY opportunities to. Hell, I can fill the 1st page of the forum up with calling out threads just for our QBs over the past decade. Smoky, I sure hope you're not standing in a glass house...

Speaking of peyton...are u watching this game??? My God peyton has accuracy issues...he threw a pass behind a guy, threw a long pass short and almost got picked by vontae. ..I'm not so sure peyton is a franchise qb

I think the Phins offense is just way better with players named Moreno involved.

His TD run reminded me of Charles Clay against the Steelers.. About time the Doophins have multiple weapons

Yeah attributing Knowshon's success to who he played with was a real disservice to him. It's the Russell Wilson effect. Diminishing a player's greatness because he plays with other players who have talent.

I liked the signing quite a bit and had no doubt he'd be our starter this year, but it wasn't until we got a glimpse of his approach to the game in the preseason that I really got the sense we were on to something special.
