I ardently couldn't care less who the back-up QB is. They already fked up the handling of Tua once. I hope they are not dumb enough to do it again.
Smith seems like a solid option for 2 or 3 games if Tua breaks a nail or something. Regardless, the backup should never see the field this year barring injury.

Winston wouldn't accept a back up role. I think he's looking for a place where he has a legit shot at the starting job. He's in a better position just staying in New Orleans than coming to Miami. I could see Winston going to Denver.

Better than a washed up Alex Smith, even Rivera just admired he was scared to play him as any sane person would be.
Oh I agree on what Rivera said I feared for the guy last year but real talent and Winston don't go together.
