I guess we'll pack the O line with blockers and give Tanny more time to heave the ball to Wallace. Then sprinkle in some running plays and the coaches figure they have it solved. And it may be.
But you know, I'm still worried about Tannehill. Watching his mechanics, his body language...he just doesn't shift, slide, move comfortably in the pocket, and when he does its as if his ankles are broken. Once he does get released and rolls out or scrambles out he seems invigorated and he picks up some speed and his vision improves and he completes a big pass. But sitting back there in the pocket, I still see a problem. So, I dunno. You see how sure-handed, fast, good route runners like Gibson flourished with him....and how YAC is so important. I think that much more than needing Wallace, Tannehill needs these speedy route runners with hands of glue, and a big, fast TE who can get out there and let him release the ball quickly, and then get yards after catch.
I'd really be interested to know what the coaches vision of him is, exactly. And I'm eager to see what Lazor does this year. If it doesn't all come together, where it looks effortless and consistent,...then I don't know, in 2015 we have to change something.
