yeah saw that play previously on "highlights" whatever...

glaringly obvious re McCain -- can't understand him jumping the play action THAT much!

Bottom line -- it was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too easy for the Ravens on O all day.

we looked really, really bad.

Playing McCain at FS could be a a sneaky way to tank. After the first game, its not very sneaky.

Rowe sucks. 3rd team in just 4 season already.

New England couldn’t do anything with him.

Bobby McCain is another overrated player by the FO.

Why is a FS jumping the run on a play action? Because he doesn't know how to play the position.
Where did he attack the run? Looked like he shuffled to his left attacking nothing.

Why is he coming down for run support so hard? Does he not realize that he's the last line of defense in the passing game? He doesn't have the mindset to play FS. He should be thinking run support last and don't get beat deep first.

McCain is the worst "free safety" in the NFL. Period.

Still puzzled by that move. He actually improved and became a decent slot cover guy. Terrible in the boundary, atrocious at FS.

I thought that was on Jamol Wiltz, who looked like he was too busy standing around trying to see if Jackson was going to get sacked to bother following his receiver. Jackson got the pass off, and the ball floated gently in to the end zone and the arms of a wide open receiver.

The Snead TD reception Wiltz was the culprit of getting beat.

Terrible job by McCain - I've talked at length about how OC's are going to abuse this guy at safety.

However, this is also a massive coaching gaffe. A safety can no longer trust his run/pass key against the RPO or zone read - he has to feel the release of the #2 receiver here which requires instincts. McCain never even looks at Brown to gauge his release. There is absolutely no reason for Bobby McCain to be playing safety. But even less reason than that for him to be the single high safety with man coverage in front of him.

Did you watch the video? He jumped on the play action, anticipating the run, which pulled him out of position.

You people and your bitching about this coaching staff playing people out of position. Obviously this is part of the tank job for Tua, our running back of the future.

only thing I can think of why he’s playing safety is Miami wants to expedite the tanking process.

McCain had his eye on the RB for days - even after Lamar was looking downfield to pass..

WTF was he looking at - does he need glasses?

The RB was like 6 yards away from the QB, with no ball in his hands, and yet McCain is still flowing to the left with the RB.

Get his ass out of there coach! Geez!
