Watch (sound on) the failed 4th and 1 attempt and how there was more wrong with it than just the fact we tried to throw. Gase really needs to stop being so stubborn on the 3rd/4th and 1's and either hand it to Gore, or for ALL-THAT-IS-HOLY, run a QB sneak.

Didn't catch the game, but seeing that for the first time, you are spot on in all aspects. Good review.

Nice. can you post the onside kick also. missed game. would like to see your breakdown on that too. thx

Gase's Play calling has never been great, but it appears to be getting worse. If Gase doesn't change his ways he's going to play call himself right out of the league.

Yeah should have qb sneaked that. That tight formation brings 8 defenders in the box. Brock has no choice there but to throw the sticks primary flat route.

And we rolled into a wide 9 clean release de by design. That’s bill lazor level stuff when he was here.

I don’t know if Brock has the freedom to check out of that I’m guessing he doesn’t but he should read that de alignment pre snap and know that he’s not gonna have but a nanosecond to hit that flats route.

Play call relative to the play side de alignment pre snap issue.

Miamis hoping that play side I guess it is lb reads the o lines movement to the opposite side post snap and takes false steps inside. But nope and like op said there’s no actual play action to help influence. Just relying on the o line action post snap to free it up.

I don't have a huge problem, in theory, with Gase calling the plays, but in practice, it's not efficient. It takes a great deal of focus to run a modern offense, and if the head coach is calling plays, he isn't in a position to see the "big picture".

He tries to out coach his opponent even when the situation calls for a basic, well executed off tackle 2 yard punch in the mouth.

I hope he is big enough to adjust.

Andy Reid calls the plays. Doesn’t hurt kc. Reid is a master scheme guy and of course he has guys that not only get schemed up but are top of their position level talents and play that way every week. Hunt, hill, and the real meal ticket in terms of how dcs play them kelce

Agreed! However it would take a double digit losing streak for Ross to see he needs to go. He apparently doesn’t see that Gase cant call plays, manage difficult personalities, evaluate offensive linemen, choose quality coordinators, game plan, make adjustments, or hedge his bet by drafting a qb to compete and be insurance.

That's the Dolphins on a nut shell, always complicating things more than they have to.

Great job as always!

Gase is an effing douche at this point!

Totally LAUGHABLE as an O guru "punk genius!"

This offense struggles mightily with sustaining drives and getting first downs. It’s as if it’s first and 20 at the start of a new set of downs. I’m sure opposing defenses relish the thought of going up against the Miami offense. I’m over Gase as a playcaller, time to move on

good analysis. he's either got to give up calling plays or we move on from Gase. He doesn't have it figured out.
