and some of the guys identified as playing poorly looked ok...
1. Eiland was called a "bum" and after watching the game he looked ok.
2. Howard has been repeatedly labeled as a guy to go, but he actually looked ok.
3. Berlin and Mann hooked up a little; brought back memories of the first year Gadsden broke in. Berlin is at least practice squad material, but might shock and make the roster.
4. I know there is a log jam at dt, but Shaw impressed me. If he is cut it will not be for lack of effort. He definitely has looked better than Romero.
5. Glenn may be the best pick-up in recent weeks. A definite keeper.
6. Alabi has looked respectable and will likely make the team.
7. Vickerman may be in trouble. Wright will make the team on potential alone.
8. Richard looked active if not where he needed to be at all times. He got play early in the game so he is being given every opportunity to make the team. Flemons played very late in the Saints game.
9.I will be surprised if there are no additional moves to add to the roster made prior to season opener. Have no idea what they will be, but I expect moves to bring in more players. I was very impressed with some players on other teams caught up in number games (Hankster, wr Jacksonville).
10. I expect to be shocked on some cuts this year. Really shocked.
Just 10 meaningless opinions...
Lee2000 by the way Jason Taylor said you could have a backfield of Deon Sanders during that first game with Chicago and they would not be able to cover the receivers without a pass rush.
