Noticed that our linebackers really suck. I have seen Wheeler and Enerlbe get blown out more then 10 times!!! Thats crazy! They have no physical point of attack. This really worries me. I bet if we still have Dansby and Burrnet, we would be a better improved Defense, but then again I am not a GM thats why its not my job.lol
 
Wheeler has been a big disappointment, i don't think you will find anyone that will argue that point. Ellerbe has made some big plays at times and has been solid in the running game. it is important to remember that Dansby and Burnett never had the caliber of seasons they are producing this year in a Miami uniform and i think Dansby would still be in Miami if he level of play on the field matched his mouth off it.
 
I like ellarbee, He has come up with several big plays this season. The Int vs Cincy and NY Jets come to mind. Also it seems he is a big part of the locker room as member of the leadership council. Has he missed more tackles then I'd like from my MLB this yr? sure, but I wouldnt say he has "sucked" this yr.

Wheeler has awesome the first two weeks, particularly the Indy game. He has fallen off dramatically and I can't say I'm suprised. Him and Gibson where the two signings I thought he reached on this offseason and whileGibson I thought proved me wrong before he got hurt, Wheeler has been what I thought he would be. Playing like a journeyman LB
 
I'm sure they are playing hurt...just something to keep in mind.

Dansby and Burnett were never very good either. Dansby didn't turn it on until his final year.
 
dang missed it.... was sitting at the bar after work a couple hours ago... and almost suggested for the bartender to put NFLN on one of the tvs cause nothing was on.
 
Pale in comparison to Will Davis. He looked like he was baking cookies out there

Davis has been an extreme disappointment. We need to lock up Grimes and Patterson and continue looking for new starters. He might blossom next year but he has not flashed at all.

Looking at ellerbee and Wheeler, they are stop gap guys. I hope we take some LB's at the top of the next draft.
Offensive line and LB's appear to be our priority now.

At least all the other corners drafted this year looked like hot garbage as well (with the exception of Honey Badger, whom we should've took instead of Davis) so it's suffice to say that maybe the learning curve for the position has gotten a little more steeper in today's NFL

i dont think honey badger was injured so he wasnt even on ireland's board

I think everyone needs to relax on Davis. It was practically his first game and against Tom Brady. I will definitely wait to give my final verdict on him.
