McMahon, who was listed 3rd all year behind Detmer, will start this Sunday since McNabb is missing an entire game.. Koy is always listed 2nd because of snapping duties..

The mystery has finally been solved..

That doesnt say much though since Feeley was a legit 3rd Stringer here this year..

Feeley is never going to have a starting job in this league again. There are simply too few Rick Spielmans in this world.

he's only 1 or 2 plays away from getting another chance.

Minimum two plays. Brees goes down. Rivers goes down.

On a serious note. He's not a very good QB, and the horrible system he played under in college has probably ruined any chance of him starting in the league. There is a bigger chance of him flipping burgers next season than starting somewhere.

well he will be a backup next year if he stays in SD. And IMO he is a very serviceable backup.

I think Mueller had it right when he said that AJ is a west coast kind of guy. That's the kind of system he grew up in up in Philly, and in college Tedford's system is basically a WCO.

He'd do fine in a WCO. I don't mean starter fine, but fine for a backup. Linehan's offense is not close to a WCO.

:yeahthat:

Definately not put him in an offense that wants to go downfield often.

I kind of agree. The year Feeley actually played in Philly was when McNabb and Detmer had gone down. Remember????? I think the following year, after Feeley had played somewhat well when he did fill in for McNabb, this was true.

I think we should strike while the iron is hot and trade a 2nd rd pick for Mike Mcmahon before it's too late.j/k

Yeah didn't Detmer get carted off the field crying on MNF for dislocating his elbow, then Feeley was the starter. I really don't know what would've happened the next year but it really does not matter at this point. I think Mike McMahon is gonna play relatively well for Philly and I posted it last season, I would've rather had the team bring him in than Gus.
