Wayne's plane (say that fast 3 times) lands in about 45 minutes. He was in Minnesota for about 4 hours or so. I wonder how the interview with Tomlin went.

I wonder if there will be a press conference soon or something to tell us the status about all the interviews we've had already. How many interviews have we done now? About 15 right?

it seems like the phins have interviewed about 15 guys...i doubt other teams r doing that...i don mind them taking there time but i wonder if they will ever get down to a 3-5 candiates list in the end or just choose 1 from all of them

I think IF its Pete Carroll we find out by the end of the week. God I hope we dont hear anything. NFL coordinators I wonder if its not from a playoff team if he would announce the hiring right away or wait until the SB is done. If it IS a guy like Cameron, he will obviously have to wait until the SB is over anyway.

Adam Schefter just said on NFL Network that Wayne met with Pete Caroll today but he said Pete most likely only met with him out of respect to Wayne and doesnt believe Caroll wants to leave USC. So it sounds like we can almost count him out, but who knows what really happened or if/what Wayne offered him.

One reason why it would be interesting to at least pick Tomlin's brain: this past season, he saw the Dolphins (and remember, it wasn't the Vikings' defense that lost that game), not to mention the rest of the AFC East. He'd at least have a working knowledge of the division.
