All these negative threads about Culpepper and Joey are getting old. Do you really think you know better than Nick Saban? The man that lead us to 9-7 season with jack for players? Hes won a nat'l title and oh by the we he is an nfl head coach and we are not. So Lets get off his back :tantrum:. Besides when we finish 13-3 and win the Super Bowl we'll be fending off those who want to jump on the Dolphins bandwagon.

ok.... I agree

At first, I didn't really like us trying to get Harrington, but after seeing what Saban was able to do with Gus Frerrote, I'd give Saban ALL the benefit of the doubt. I just hope we never have to use Joey. Come back Daunte!

On a sidenote: Look how rediculous it is on here..There's a "RUMOR" about the trade getting done and we've got 15 different Joey Harrington threads.:shakeno: :shakeno:

I definitely do not think that I know more than Saban.

He has earned the benefit of the doubt

Saban has never given us any reason to doubt him. It has been one great move after another.

We need Harrington as a backup and if the rumors are true it's a steal for someone that still has potential and i know saban can bring it out.

No one's on Saban's back.

We're merely debating a football team on an internet message board. What fun would it be if we all bowed down to Saban and agreed with his every decision. That's like accepting all of President Bush's decisions because he's the self-proclaimed "decider".

I agree. I love the Dolphins and follow them closely. But I would be an arrogant fool if I thought I knew more about what was going on than he did. Still, that doesn't mean I will always agree with him and I enjoy having a place where I can express my opinions. I support Saban and the Dolphins but that doesn't mean I think they can't make mistakes. I just hope none of them are whoppers (ala practically every move DW made).

Stockar McDougle.

But otherwise...ya, all great moves, and I am extremely happy to have Harrington on the team.

Hmmmmm, dave wannstedt led us to 2 11 win seasons, and non of the talent he had, exept maybe zach, or possably jt are going to the hall of fame.

the 9-7 season was suprise, and a nice one, but the man has a long
way to go before earning the "inflapable" tag.

COACHES GET THINGS WRONG! even the best of 'em. and saban will
and has been no different. he WILL and HAS taken chances and
some hits and some misses.

havn't you ever thought [and we can use any team, any coach/gm here]
"why the hell are they picking that guy? they should have picked.......
.....and you were right?

all of us can say that. and some of us are right more than a lot of
coaches/gm's. who many of are now unemployed or coaching
special teams at some podunk jr high some where.

very, very lame when someone pulls out the old "he's a nfl coach
and your not. we can't question him!!!"

yes, we can!!!

Well there is quite a difference between the two intelligence-wise. Bush is not the sharpest tool, therefore you are bound to question a person more like that. That's not to say that you can't or won't question Saban, but Saban definitley being smarter than Bush does cause less questioning, because he knows what he's doing and usually makes wise decisions.

True, but as soon as he realized that even Houck couldn't get anything out of Big Mac, he kicked him to the curb.
