We Are Finally Going To Have A Real Team

Now that the incompatant coaches are gone.We have a coach who was a Dolphin fan growing up.I am proud that we actually have the personel to get things done.I am pleased that we have the FO that can execute deals to get more draft picks,and get the talent.
For too long have we just tried to add players and give up picks.Not anymore.We are in for a real TEAM again.Not a 11-5 season and miss the playoffs.A team that is tough,angry to play other teams that are doubting us,agressive,Execute to perfection.We now have guys doing what it takes to be a contender again.We might not be Super Bowl bound this year.But i believe we will be a sleeper this year.We will be a decent team,and i hope that are moves in the draft will compliment are FA.That will make us great.Are QB situation is up in the air,But make no mistake that CAM,RAM will do whatever it takes to make that position a force to be reckond with.I now we all want this team to win the next 4 Super Bowls.But first we have to get this team in order.We are well on are way.I know that if we are patient we will see the Glory Return to The
MIAMI DOLPHINS.

Former Dolphins playing for the Pats really makes me hate the Patsies at that but Miami is slowly inching forward and improving over last years team. I just really hope we land some impact rookies in the draft and fill some more holes on offense.

I also want to see Ricky Williams bust out another big year. I'm hoping he is back on the roster and not trade bait.

I'm still waiting on Ricky to redeem himself with lots of yards and a bunch of TD's.

Keep dreaming. RW isn't half the player he was 3-4 yrs ago. He has lost some of his strength and power along with weight. He didn't exactly light it up in the CFL.

I don't buy the CFL argument. It's just a guess, but I'm relatively positive he wasn't giving 100% effort. And even if he was, it's a different game philosophically.

Still, RW will never be a starting RB for the Miami Dolphins as long as Ronnie Brown is healthy.

Not only has Brown proven he can play but he was the 2nd overall pick in the draft. It would be a waste of such an expensive investment to have him sit.

Not a chance. Ronnie is just hitting his stride and will start becoming one of the better backs in football. Ricky Williams is on the decline and will probably be gone once his contract is up any how. This offense is going to be built around Ronnie Brown. Bank on that!

This sounds an awful lot like alot of the posts after you got Saban, things change really quickly.

I tend to agree with you NY. No matter how huge a Dolphin fan I am, we were VERY over-hyped last offseason, IMO. I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet.

I have to totally agree. The media seems split on the Dolphins off-season. Some praise the way we've acquired draft picks while others bash our lack of activity in getting FA's (especially on the O-line). The Pats have recieved a lot of praise for thier dealings for FA's; however, how many times has a team that has tried to "buy" talent been very successful? In my opinion, the Pats have gone against their tradition of building through the draft with a FEW FA's here and there. Heck, they gave us 2nd and 7th rounders for Wes Welker?!?! He's good but not that good and that's a win for us. It's been proven that building through the draft is the key to success and I'm thrilled to see we FINALLY are taking that route for building a team. People can whine all they want about our lack of activity in getting talent but it's proven that you build through the draft and not through FA's. Be patience fellow fans, our coach and GM know what they're doing. We'll be getting younger, which we need to, and spending less $$$ to get it. This may not be the Fins year for a championship run, infact I'm positive about it, but we're building for long term success in the future. Chill out and wait and see what the draft brings.
