I don't buy into that 24 hours of jubilation thing.

I was thinking today, while at the game, about how often our D is going to eat J.P. Losman.

I mean, Jake Delhomme is an all right QB, and we chewed on him a bit today, but J.P. is just not ready and he hasn't faced anything like what we bring.

This was my thought process...BEFORE I heard about Spikes.

I don't wish any harm on him, I think he's a beast, but if he's out, and if Fletcher is still out, can you imagine?

All right, enjoy the bye.

We will be looking closely at the Bills next week, while we lick our cold sores and get ready to rumble in the RALPH! Cant wait.....Ill be there live!

Losing Spikes and Fletcher is a big loss anyways we will see how they do at the Ralph, until then lets enjoy the bye and some College ball this Saturday.

yea we have a big advantage and should win this game.We have so much time to watch film and study them.Im looking for ronni to have another brealout game.:D:D:D:D

dont forget the buccaneers the following week another team that we should beat. 4-1 looks undeniably possible

They probably taste like buffalo manure:lol:

homerism aside, this matchup is in our favor.

Right now, the bills' strength is their running game. Right now, our biggest strength is our run D. We haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher, in fact we haven't allowed a 50 yard rusher in two of our three games. The Bills passing offense is suspect as JP is still learning the ropes of pro football.... he makes some mistakes, doesn't take a lot of shots downfield. We need to capitalize on this and get in his head. Further, we need our guys to stuff their run.

The Bills D is a bigger concern for me. Their D has TONS of talent, but hasn't seemed to have put it all together the last couple of weeks. They always seem to play better against us, though, so i won't take anything away from their defense. I think we need to focus on our offensive gameplan. Our defense should make this game very easy for us.

Well, I have to say that how we do against the Bills is TOTALLY dependent on WHICH of our defenses shows up for the game. Will it be the D that smothered the Donkeys and punished the Kittycats or will it be the defense that let a lame-arse Pennington complete ducks against them all day long? I would still like to see some consistency before making such predictions.

A 3-0 team? A team that we should beat...ehhhh...let's win the Bills game before thinking about the Bucs.

well.... yes and no.

the difference is not in how our D played... our rush D was strong all 3 games, and our pass D was suspect all 3 games. We just got lucky that our pass D made plays (read: INTs) versus Denver and Carolina. so the difference isn't "which defense shows up", but rather, if we create turnovers.

I have noticed that if our D makes plays or creates turnovers, we win. Our pass D will always get burned for TD passes apparently. It is just a question if the Bills receivers actually CATCH the passes from Losman (read: what DIDN'T happen for Denver, but DID for NYJ)
